GlenDronach 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery at Forgue in Aberdeenshire, founded in 1826. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky spends at least 12 years in Spanish Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, which gives it a full-bodied, sweetly sherried style.
The nose is sweet and creamy, with sherry and oak. The palate is rich, with dried fruits, nuts and spice, leading to a long, smooth finish with sherried sweetness.
