GlenDronach – 15 Year Old (70cl)

GlenDronach 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It returns an expression that BenRiach Distilling Co, led by Billy Walker, first launched in 2009 as the Revival, a year after acquiring the distillery. GlenDronach was founded in 1826 by a group of local farmers led by James Allardice. It closed in 1996 and resumed production in 2002, and the shortage of mature stock that followed meant older spirit was used in the earlier Revival. This 15 year old is the first made wholly from whisky distilled after the reopening. Compared with a 2015 bottling, it has a lighter sherry influence.
