GlenDronach 15 Year Old is a single malt from a distillery founded in 1826 and known for maturing in sherry casks. This expression was relaunched in 2024 and is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
The nose shows blackberries, figs and raisins with honey, dark chocolate and roasted coffee, over spiced oak and leather. The palate has plums, dates and sultanas, with caramelised brown sugar, toffee, cinnamon, dark chocolate and roasted nuts. The finish is long, with sherry-soaked fruits, lingering spice and a touch of oak.
