GlenDronach 15 Year Old Revival is a Highland single malt from the distillery in Aberdeenshire, matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The name Revival marks the distillery's reopening in 2002 after it was mothballed from 1996.
The nose is dark cherry, maraschino, Christmas cake spice, candied orange peel and a trace of oak. The palate brings apricot jam, dark chocolate, honey, ginger spice and Pedro Ximénez sweetness. The finish is long and spiced, with dried fruit, dark chocolate and a gentle oak dryness.
