A Highland single malt from Glendronach, aged 18 years and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured entirely in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, and it is non-chill-filtered.
The nose is deep and rich with sherry, aged rum, pineapple and brown sugar. On the palate come Christmas cake, chocolate hazelnut and runny honey, with a refined, Sauternes-like quality. The finish is long, with blackcurrant, blueberry pancakes and plenty of maple syrup.
