Glendronach – Octarine 8 Year Old

Octarine is an 8 year old single malt from Glendronach, put together from bourbon and sherry casks. The result is a dark whisky, in which the combination of the two cask types carries the flavour rather than the age. The nose is fruity, followed by marzipan and chocolate. On the palate it is fruity and sweet, with butterscotch and toffee. The finish is long and has good depth.
