GlenDronach Ode To The Dark is a Highland single malt from the Master's Anthology series, matured entirely in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and bottled at 50.8% in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The whisky is a deep black garnet in the glass. The nose offers mocha, black cherry and dark chocolate, with crème brûlée, raisin, brown sugar and ginger. On the palate come smooth espresso, crème caramel, black grape and mint chocolate ganache. The finish is long, with dark fruit, rich chocolate and sherry sweetness.
