GlenDronach Original is a 12 year old Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is gold in colour.
The nose combines raisin, cinnamon and caramelised sugar, with sweeter PX notes and raw ginger before hazelnuts bring a creamier edge. On the palate come fruit, peel and a rich pain au chocolat character, along with a little jelly on toast, then nuttier, firmer spiced raisins. The finish is smoky toffee and nuts.
