GlenDronach Original is a 12 year old Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is a bright gold in the glass.
The nose brings raisin, cinnamon and caramelised sugar, with sweet PX notes and raw ginger, turning creamier with hazelnuts. Cocoa, vanilla and sweet biscuity malt also feature.
On the palate there are fruit and peel, pain au chocolat and a little jelly on toast, becoming firmer and nuttier with spiced raisins. The finish is smoky toffee with nuts.
