This is a 12 year old single malt from Glenfiddich, in a 70cl bottle at 40% vol. The distillery is in Dufftown, in the Speyside region of Scotland, and is still owned by the family, now in its fifth generation.
The whisky matured for 12 years in sherry and bourbon casks.
The colour is pale gold. The nose is fresh, fruity and mild, with pear. On the palate it is full-bodied and malty, with vanilla, pear, a little peat and white chocolate. The finish is long, with gentle peat.
