Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Dufftown, bottled at 40% ABV in a 1.75 litre bottle.
The whisky is matured for at least 12 years in American bourbon and Spanish Oloroso sherry oak casks, then married in oak tuns. It is also known as Our Original Twelve.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with pear, green apple, honeyed malt and elderflower. The palate is soft and sweet, with fruit that develops into butterscotch, cream and malt, balanced by subtle oak and a touch of white pepper. The finish is long, smooth and mellow, ending on apple and vanilla.
