Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Dufftown, bottled at 40% ABV. It is matured in sherry, bourbon and new oak casks, then married in a Solera vat.
The vat is never emptied below halfway, so each new batch is combined with all those before it. That is how the 15 Year Old keeps a continuous, consistent character.
The nose is sweet honey, vanilla fudge and rich dark fruit. On the palate it is smooth and layered, with sherry, cinnamon and ginger, and the finish is long and warming.
