Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is a single malt whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% vol. It matures in three kinds of cask: bourbon, sherry and first-fill oak.
A solera process, better known from sherry and rum, is also used here to keep the quality consistent.
The nose is intense and spicy, with dark berries, sweet honey, vanilla and fine wood. The palate is very soft, with sherry notes, dark berries, cinnamon, oak, honey and ginger. The finish is long, with a light fruity sweetness.
