Glenfiddich 16 Year Old Aston Martin F1 No.2 is a Speyside single malt created in collaboration with the Aston Martin Formula One Team. The project was led by Adrian Newey and Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich's Malt Master.
The whisky was matured for 16 years in a mixture of first-fill bourbon, wine, port and sherry casks.
The nose shows fresh orchard fruits, gentle vanilla sweetness, soft oak and delicate floral notes. The palate is smooth, with ripe fruit, creamy vanilla and warming oak spice. The finish is long, with lingering oak spice, gentle sweetness and fruit.
