This is a 21 year old Glenfiddich single malt, bottled at 40% vol. in a 70cl bottle for Chinese New Year. It was finished for four months in casks that previously held four year old Cuban rum.
The label design is by the illustrator Rlon Wang, with the Glenfiddich stag at its centre.
The nose is intense vanilla and floral, with exotic hints of banana, then fig and caramel. The palate starts soft before turning lively and dry, peppery, with a touch of smoke, ginger and spice. The finish is long and spicy.
