Glenfiddich 21 Year Old is a single malt matured for 21 years in American oak, then finished for six months in casks that previously held Cuban rum. The rum finish adds a Caribbean touch. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, and won silver medals at the ISC and the IWSC in 2012.
The nose is complex, with sweet honey, brioche, butter biscuits, fresh apples and citrus. The palate is full and silky, with sweet fruit, caramel, oak and vanilla custard. The finish is long, fruity and spicy.
