Glenfiddich Grande Couronne is a 26 year old Speyside single malt, bottled at 43.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for 26 years in American and European oak casks and then finished in French Cognac casks. The outturn was 10,000 bottles.
The colour is bright gold. The nose offers apple pie, sweet oak and a little vanilla. The palate is silky and varied, with coffee, brown sugar and warming spice. The finish is very long, with fruity sweetness and spicy oak.
