Glenfiddich Aston Martin 16 Year is a 16-year-old Speyside single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is a collaboration between Glenfiddich and the car maker Aston Martin.
The whisky is matured entirely in American oak, in a marriage of new American oak barrels, second-fill ex-bourbon barrels and American oak wine casks.
Maple syrup, caramelised ginger and sweet oak mark the nose. The palate is silky and fruity, with toffee, vanilla and a thread of spice, and the finish is medium to long, with toffee sweetness, polished oak and warm spice.
