This is a limited-edition 16 year old single malt from Glenfiddich, inspired by the distillery's partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One Team. It is presented as an expression of trusting the senses, in the tradition of Malt Master Brian Kinsman.
The whisky was formed from American oak wine casks, new American barrels and second-fill bourbon casks.
The nose is rich and sweet, with a biscuity cheesecake base, maple syrup, caramelised ginger and subtle toasted oak. The palate is sweet like confectionery, with a silky, syrupy mouthfeel. The finish is smooth, with a sustained sweetness.
