A 26 year old Glenfiddich single malt, bottled at 43.8% in a 70cl bottle. Grande Couronne is the release that follows Grand Cru in the Glenfiddich Grand Series.
After 26 years at the distillery, the whisky was given an extended finish in rare French Cognac casks, which adds layers of sweet toasted oak.
The tasting notes describe aromas of café crème, brown sugar and soft spice. The palate is deep, velvety and sweet, with café crème, soft brown sugar and a hint of spice.
