Glenfiddich – Perpetual Collection VAT 01 Smooth & Mellow (1L, 40%)

Glenfiddich Perpetual Collection VAT 01 Smooth & Mellow is a single malt from Scotland, bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. It is the first release in Glenfiddich's Perpetual Collection. The collection is built on the solera method, using vats that are usually only half emptied, so each new batch contains part of the previous one. This whisky was matured in American oak, European oak and red wine casks. The colour is gold. The nose has summer flowers, light citrus, creamy vanilla, sweet caramel and spicy oak. The palate is silky, with oak, sweetness and a hint of freshly ground pepper. The finish is velvety and long.
