Glenfiddich – Perpetual Collection Vat No.2 Rich & Dark (1L)

A sherried Glenfiddich from the Perpetual Collection, originally released for the distillery's travel exclusive range, in a 1 litre bottle. This single malt was aged in Spanish sherry casks. Only half of the whisky in the vat is bottled before it is refilled with fresh spirit, in the manner of a Spanish sherry solera, so older and younger whisky are always mixed together. The nose offers polished leather, fruitcake, bittersweet marmalade and toasted oak. The palate is silky, sweet and spicy, with peppery oak, cigar box and toasted bread. The finish brings candied peel, treacle and plenty of cinnamon.
