This is Glengoyne 10 Year Old, a single malt Scotch bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The barley is dried by air rather than peat, and the whisky is matured in hand-selected sherry casks made from European and American oak.
The nose is sweet, with toffee, popcorn and a slight nuttiness alongside fresh green apples. On the palate come green apples, grass, soft oak and a hint of sweet liquorice. A drop of water brings out linseed oil and almonds.
