Glengoyne 12 Year Old is an unpeated Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The lack of peat is unusual for the Highlands, and the whisky is soft and fruity.
On the nose there are toffee apples, acacia honey, nectarine in syrup and spice, with toasted barley behind. The palate brings over-ripe grapes, honey, vanilla, coconut milk and oak spice, with light touches of chocolate ice cream. The finish is long and oily, with lingering coffee.
