A 15-year-old unpeated Highland single malt from Glengoyne, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It marries whiskies matured in first-fill bourbon, first-fill sherry and refill casks. The sherry side brings darker, resinous orchard-fruit tones, while the bourbon casks add brighter vanilla. It is light amber in the glass.
The nose combines malt flour, fresh hay, dried fruit, citrus and rosehip. The palate is clean and gently sweet, with tropical fruit, candied lemon, cinnamon, vanilla and apple pie. The finish is dry, with gentle spice and lingering oak.
