This is an 18 year old Glengoyne, a Highland single malt bottled at 43%. It was matured in sherry casks made from both European and American oak.
The nose is rich and warming, with ripe apple, spicy vanilla, roasting sticky nuts and soft woody spices. On the palate, raisin and dried fruits begin to appear while the whisky keeps a fresh quality.
