Glengoyne – Highland Single Malt 10 Year Old

Glengoyne 10 Year Old is a Highland single malt from a distillery on the Highland border, known as the Glen of the Geese. The barley is dried by air only, and the stills are shaped to give what is described as the longest distillation of any Scottish whisky. The spirit matures in casks made to order from European and American oak. The colour is natural, with nothing added. The style is soft and sweet, with a slightly herbal note and a strong bourbon influence. White milk bottle sweets come across as creamy rather than fruity, the barley character is rich, and the whisky is clean and dry.
