The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Jamaica Edition is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
It is matured for twelve years in American and European oak casks, then finished in Jamaican rum casks for a secondary period, which adds tropical sweetness and a hint of molasses.
The nose opens with ripe pineapple, banana, mango and citrus zest over vanilla cream. The palate shows mango, green apple and pineapple, then toffee and creamy vanilla. The finish is medium, velvety and gently spiced, with caramel and soft oak.
