Glenlivet 12 Year Provence Edition is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is the second release in The Glenlivet's Beyond Speyside Series.
The whisky first matures in a combination of American and European oak casks, then receives a further finishing period in casks seasoned with rosé wine from Cru Classé estates in Provence.
The nose shows ripe white peach, citrus, roasted almonds and a gentle floral lift. On the palate are juicy pear, coconut, orange marmalade and red berries over a malty, vanilla core. The finish is long and sweet, with gentle oak and fading stone fruit.
