This is a 30 year old Glenlivet single malt, selected and bottled by Hunter Laing for its Platinum Selection range. It comes from a single cask.
The nose offers candied fruit such as fig, date and plum, with heather honey, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, leather, tobacco and fine wood. The palate is full and velvety, with peach, apricot and orange, sherry, dark chocolate, coffee and a touch of oak. The finish is very long, warm and sweet, with fruit and spice and a hint of wood and leather.
