Glenlivet Founders Reserve is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured in a mix of traditional oak and first-fill American oak casks.
The Glenlivet was founded by George Smith in 1824, and its tall copper pot stills help produce a light, fruity spirit.
On the nose there is orange zest, toffee and ripe plum, with chocolate raisins and a little cinnamon. The palate is fruity and sweet, with toffee, milk chocolate and hints of baked apple. Creamy toffee leads the finish, alongside soft oak and barley sugar warmth.
