Glenmorangie – 12 Year Old Madeira Wood Finish 1990s (1L, 43%)

This is Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Madeira Wood Finish, a Highland single malt in a 1-litre bottle at 43%. It was bottled in the 1990s or early 2000s and has the original dark green label. The whisky spent at least 12 years in oak casks before a second maturation in casks that once held Madeira wine. The finish adds sweetness and richness to Glenmorangie's fruity and floral style. Introduced in 1996, it was one of the distillery's first wood-finished whiskies, alongside the Sherry Wood Finish and Port Wood Finish. The green label was replaced by a striped design around 2003 to 2004, and the expression was discontinued in 2007.
