Hibiki Blender's Choice (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki Blender's Choice is a Japanese whisky released in 2018 to fill the gap left by the discontinued Hibiki 17 Year Old. It carries no age statement and is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. On the nose there is wild raspberry, white peach, pineapple and crème brûlée. The palate offers apricot compote, building sweetness and a pleasant tartness, with a weighty middle of stone fruits and desserts. The finish is softly sweet, with raspberry and white chocolate, delicate and lingering.
