Hibiki Japanese Harmony (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki Japanese Harmony is a blended Japanese whisky from the House of Suntory, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The brand was first created in 1989 to mark Suntory's 90th anniversary. It is a blend of at least ten malt and grain whiskies from three distilleries: malt from Yamazaki and Hakushu, and grain from Chita. The components mature in five cask types, including American white oak, sherry and Japanese Mizunara oak, and the bottle is a 24 faceted decanter representing Japan's 24 traditional seasons. The nose is lightly floral with rose, orange blossom, apricot, marmalade and honey, while the palate is silky, with honey sweetness and candied orange peel.
