Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select is a blended Japanese whisky from The House of Suntory, bottled at 43% in a 700ml 24-faceted decanter with a washi paper label and a purple Master's Select banner. It is a separate blend from the standard Japanese Harmony, released in late 2015, with more emphasis on Yamazaki sherry cask character. More than ten malt and grain whiskies from Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita are matured across five cask types, including American white oak, sherry casks and Japanese Mizunara oak. The nose offers citrus blossom, mango, juicy raisins and cherry blossom over vanilla-rich oak, with a fuller sherry influence. The palate brings chocolate orange, creamy wood, dried apricot and sultanas.
