Hibiki 17 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky, made by combining malt and grain whiskies that have matured in a variety of casks.
The nose is elegant, with candied orange and apricot, rose and jasmine, cinnamon and sandalwood, and a subtle touch of honey. The palate is soft and silky, with ripe fruit alongside caramel, dark chocolate and fine wood. The finish is long and harmonious, with a gentle warmth and the fruity, spicy notes returning.
