A blend of straight rye whiskeys from High West Distillery in Park City, Utah, finished in Port barrels. It is a limited release from the Limited Engagement series, Act 10 Scene 1, bottled at 98.6 proof in a 750ml bottle.
The rye provides a base of vanilla, caramel and cinnamon, while the Port barrels add plum, dried fruit and spice.
The nose is of brandied cherries, fig jam, sun-dried raisins, dried orange peel, baking spice and French oak toast. On the palate come quince paste, strawberry rhubarb crumble, vanilla caramel, molasses, toffee and leather.
