A Midwinter Nights Dram Act 9 Scene 3 is a straight rye whiskey from High West, bottled at 98.6 proof (49.3%) in a 750ml bottle. It is a blend of straight rye whiskeys finished in French oak and port wine barrels.
The Midwinter Nights Dram is a seasonal release made once a year in limited quantities, and each edition is labelled by Act and Scene to identify the batch.
The nose combines dark fruit, baking spices, caramel and toasted oak. On the palate, rye spice sits alongside plum, fig and vanilla, with gentle sweetness from the port barrels. The finish is long and warming, with spice, dried fruit and soft oak.
