This is High West Bourye, a limited release from the Utah distillery that blends straight bourbon and straight rye whiskies. It is bottled at 46% vol in a 750ml bottle.
The nose has caramel, dried fruits, vanilla and a hint of mint, with rye spice and toasted oak. On the palate it is full-bodied, with toffee, cinnamon and dark chocolate, peppery rye spice and herbal notes.
The finish is long and smooth, with oak, baking spices and a touch of sweet vanilla.
