High West Campfire is a blend of Bourbon, Rye and Scotch whiskies, bottled at 46%. It includes a straight rye with a 95% rye mash bill, a rye made at High West, a straight Bourbon with a 75% corn mash bill and a blended malt Scotch whisky.
The peated Scotch in the blend gives a smoky note reminiscent of a campfire. The idea came from David Perkins' visit to Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, where he tried the peaty whiskies. Perkins founded High West in 2006.
