High West – Double Rye Whiskey

High West Double Rye is a blend of two different rye whiskeys, made to be twice as spicy as an average rye, with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in mind. It can be drunk neat, with a little water or on the rocks, and is also used in classic cocktails such as the Manhattan and the Old Fashioned. The nose brings mint, clove, cinnamon, liquorice root, pine nuts and dark chocolate, with gin botanicals running through it. Rye spice comes first on the palate, followed by menthol, mint, eucalyptus, and herbal tea with wildflower honey and allspice.
