High West Yippee Ki-Yay is a blend of straight rye whiskeys, aged for 7 years and bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle by High West Distillery in Park City, Utah. It is an annual limited release.
The rye is finished in vermouth barrels and Syrah wine barrels, which sets American rye alongside European wine cask influence.
The vermouth is described as adding herbal, botanical notes and a dry, fortified-wine character, while the Syrah brings dark fruit, pepper and tannin.
