Highland Park – 10 Year Old Viking Scars (70cl, 40%)

Highland Park Viking Scars is a ten-year-old single malt from Kirkwall, on the largest of the Orkney islands. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, from a mix of bourbon and sherry casks. The distillery is one of the few that still has its own malting floor. The nose has heather and a clear note of peat, the palate is very fruity with gentle peat smoke, and the finish is warming, with fruity sweetness and some smoke.
