Highland Park 12 is a single malt from the Highland Park distillery on Orkney, bottled at 40% vol. in a 70cl bottle. It is the distillery's flagship.
The whisky matures in first-fill and refill sherry casks, which bring smoky, spicy and sweet aromas with hints of sherry.
The nose is robust and soft, with light smoke, malt, fruity sherry notes, honey and citrus. The palate is full-bodied, with oak, fine smoke, sweet fruit and malt. The finish is long, with sweet malt and a little smoke.
