Highland Park – 12 Year Old (70cl)

This is Highland Park 12 Year Old, a single malt from the distillery on Orkney, in a 70cl bottle. Orkney is part of Scotland but was once part of a vast Viking kingdom, and the whisky reflects that island culture: the pride, integrity and independence of the Viking ancestors of the islanders. The distillery says it still works to the standards introduced in 1798 by its founder, Magnus Eunson, a descendant of early Viking settlers.
