A 15 year old single malt from Highland Park on Orkney, bottled at 44% in a 70cl bottle. Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion selected the casks. The whisky was matured mainly in sherry-seasoned European and American oak, with a few refill casks added for smoothness.
The nose is creme brulee, heather honey and a touch of crumbled cinnamon. The palate brings pineapple and lemon zest with freshly baked sponge cake. The finish carries toasted cinnamon and delicate vanilla on soft heathery peat smoke.
