This is a single cask Highland Park from Orkney, bottled by Carn Mor. The whisky went into a first fill sherry hogshead in 1995 and matured there until 2015. The bottling was limited to 275 bottles.
The nose shows honey, heather and smoke. On the palate the sherry cask is clearly present without pushing aside the Orkney character, and the whisky is full-bodied and well balanced. The finish is full and long.
