Highland Park 25 Year Old Spring 2019 Release is a limited-edition single malt, bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. It is drawn from casks laid down in 1994 and earlier, matured mainly in first-fill and refill sherry-seasoned European and American oak.
The release combines heather honey sweetness, sherry influence and soft Orkney peat.
The nose brings heather honey, dried fruits, orange zest, polished oak and gentle peat smoke. On the palate come rich sherry sweetness, toffee, dark chocolate, nutmeg and soft smoky malt. The finish is long and warming, with spice, oak and subtle smoke.
