Highland Park Between You & I is a 16 year old single malt from Orkney, bottled at 48% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is a limited edition made in collaboration with the Swedish chef Björn Frantzén.
The whisky was matured in a mix of virgin Swedish oak, sherry-seasoned American and European oak, and ex-bourbon casks. Highland Park's heather peat smoke is joined by fresh wood spice and oak sweetness.
The nose offers oak spice, honey, toasted nuts, heather smoke and orchard fruit. On the palate come dark fruit, vanilla, caramelised oak and a little peat, and the finish is long, with gentle smoke, dried fruit and oak warmth.
