Highland Park Cask Strength No. 3 is a single malt from Kirkwall, Orkney, bottled straight from the cask without water added to lower its strength. Highland Park has made whisky there since 1798.
Water can be added to taste to open up the whisky's character. The notes run to ripe mango, cloudy heather honey and whipped vanilla cream, with a hint of violet.
The long finish brings pink grapefruit zest, freshly baked sponge cake and a last gust of heathery peat smoke.
